Reasons for an FEM calculation / FEM analysis
The requirements for the technology are clearly defined. They are specified by business, technical or, in some cases, by law. New systems must be planned, built and tested, existing systems must be adapted to the requirements of current laws and regulations, maintenance work must be supported analytically and constructively and cases of damage must be rectified quickly and in a targeted manner. This often brings us up against the limits of existing regulations, whose analytical calculation approaches cannot be geared towards all possible designs.
The experienced engineers at DMT ENCOS meet these challenges with the support of the proven finite element method (FEM), among other things.

Step 1 - Starting the work
After analysing the task in detail, we begin with the development of a meshed FEM model. Partly by preparing existing 3D CAD models or by creating meshing-capable models.
Step 2 - Calculation
Load functions, boundary and bearing conditions, linear and non-linear material behaviour, limit value and transient analyses, contact problems can be analysed and fracture mechanics evaluations can be carried out.
Step 3 - Conclusion
At the end of our work, you will receive pre-testable calculation reports that comply with the regulations and the applicable requirements, which contain everything you need for the subsequent design review or technical documentation, from stress analyses, deformation analyses and service life calculations to the output of the connection loads.
